After what will have been almost a year off to recharge the batteries, The Album Project are pleased to announce their next show which will be:

1973 – A Year in Rock

Way back when we presented our first Pink Floyd Show, Dark Side of the Moon, we got to talking about just how much great music was released that year, and wouldn’t it be great to do a show based around those songs.

A cursory look at the music released in this year will show that some of Rock music’s most seminal albums burst into the public consciousness. The Album Project will perform some of the finest tracks off these albums plus songs that were in the top 100 selling singles of that year.  There will be some old favourites, and some surprises spanning a range of genres.

This is obviously a slight change in direction for the band, but of course you can expect the usual standard of high class musicianship with some new faces added to take the band to what will be another level. With an increased emphasis on the multi media visual element of the show too this is shaping up to be an awesome show!
